error to config ports "com" "usb" lpt1"

hello everybody!
i'm new here, i cant find anywhere how to config this ports "com" "usb" lpt1"...
i've xp professional and in my virtualbox other xp for tests...
it's impossible to put some usb device in my virtual xp...
how redirect or config this ports...
i've in my native xp the correct installed drivers.
sorry for my bad english.
