Hi, I'm running the latest Ubuntu on my laptop with no real issues overall, but I was attempting to copy my WinXp VDI hard drive to an external drive and it failed due to the file being to large. I'm not sure what's going on with this simple task. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks

Look at the size of the VDI and how much free space you have where you are trying to put it.

I formated a 30gig USB hard drive and the VDI is only 20 gig.

What is the filesystem of the external drive? Fat32 allows max 4GB files!
