HI,
My VB 2.1.2 is installed on windows vista 32 and I have installed a guest which is fedora 7.
I used the network tab after selecting fedora virtual machine, have selected network;
adapter 1 ;
enable network adapter;
Host interface;
cable connected;
then ok.
The issue is that my vista host doesn't create a virtual interface . so I can't resume with a bridged network.
Vista 32 bits doesn't want to create Host interface

Try vbox 2.1.4 or 2.2.4

Re: Vista 32 bits doesn't want to create Host interface
Thank you for your help.
Ok I am going to do that. since I have performed many works in my guest OS, how can keep this while migrating to the newer versions? is it safe to upgrade directly or should I backup my data, uninstall 2.1.2 and then install the 2.2.4? what is the right thing to do?

Uninstalling is always better, but do backup your VDI files!
