Your processor and motherboard must support VT-X for SMP support in VirtualBox.

How do I figure that one out? I am running Dell PowerEdge 1750.

You can put your CPU through google and check it's features. For your motherboard, check the BIOS. If there isn't a virtualization switch, you don't have it. You can't use hardware virtualization either if you installed Hyper-V on it (it's available on Server 2008, and also requires hardware-v).

Sometimes it becomes available in the BIOS after an update of it.

Check your motherboard supplier website. They have the tools for the flashing of the BIOS. Be careful though, as picking the wrong one, or turn off the computer while flashing will possibly render your system useless. I suggest you do it only if you know what you're doing, or let someone who knows how to do it properly handle it.
