[Resolved] Run 32 bit hardware on a 64 bit OS

Post by daniellouwrens »

Hi

I want to install Vista 64 but have some hardware that does not have 64 bit drivers.

Can I use VirtualBox 3.0.4 for Windows hosts on a Vista 64 OS to run the 32 bit hardware,
such as a scanner and a printer.

thanks

Daniel

You can install VBox on 64 bit OS and then install a 32 bit Windows OS that will work the printer and maybe the scanner, no promise on the scanner.

Hi

I got the scanner working fine.

This is the best bit of software I have ever used, well compiled and intuitive.
