how to get my network back

Post by TiCar »

Hi,

my virtual box gimma some popups to do an update to the newst version 3.0.4 so i do this.

After that my network stop working. I can ping the host OS (Windows 2003 SRV) to the guest OS (Ubuntu 9.04 Server) and the way back from ubuntu to windows.
I can't ping from any other windows PC to the ubuntu srv or from from ubuntu to another IP :(

i didn't change anything befor or after the update - how can i solve this problem? Installing an older verison of VirtualBox?

Lars

extended info:

Wenn i ping the guest ip i get the answer: 'From 192.168.0.42 icmp_seq=x Destination Host Unreachable' if i don't start the virtual machine.
After i start the VM with the ubuntu srv inside i didn't get any answer by pinging the ip address 192.168.0.55

how can this be?
