[Solved] How To Disable AutoResize of Windows Guest Display?

I'm running VirtualBox 3.0.2 on Linux host. I have a Windows 7 guest. I would like to somehow set the Windows guest to not automatically resize its display based upon window size. I want the guest machine display resolution to remain at 1280x800 no matter what size the window is.

I have found that Host-G seems to be a toggle for this behavior. However it seems to default to auto-resize every time I boot the guest. I don't ever want the guest resolution to be anything other than 1280 x 800 as any time it changes, Windows so <sarcasm>nicely</sarcasm> rearranges all my desktop icons.

Is it possible to set the behavior like I want?

Thanks,

Drew

You should be able to set the auto-resize to off and then shut down the guest. Open it again and then set the size you want. At this point it should remember.
If not then you may need to edit the guests machine xml to set it to false.

Thanks! That seems to have worked.
