I'm trying to boot a Windows XP partition from Windows 7 host and I get a blue screen every time with the error UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME. It gets to the Windows 7 boot loader and then the XP hardware profile selection list, but it crashes shortly after the XP logo pops up.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Re: W7 Host, XP Guest: UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
Moving to Windows 7 Host
I should warn you that if you do this and do not do it correctly, or if you get it to work and try to use the partition within both the main OS and the guest at the same time, very bad things can happen!
If I understand you correctly then you need to read up on using RAW. http://www.google.com/search?q=RAW+site ... ualbox.orgWindows XP partition
