[Solved] guest resolution, can't adjust

Post by bsoderror »

I've got three linux versions running fine under 3.04 but I'll be darned if I can get a higher resolution from any of them. Any ideas? have a 1680x1050 monitor,GE Force 8500GT Nvidia card and 3 gigs of computer ram. Can't seem to get out of 800x640.
4 gig ram, dual core, Win 7 host:
Virtualizing with VBox 3.04:
OpenSuse 11.1
Kubuntu 9,10 alpha4
Fedora 11
Mint 7
All above KDE

Have you installed the guest additions?
Some say: "You learn as long as you live".
My way: "You live as long as you learn".

No I haven't. Didn't think I needed to at this point. What are they?

I found it and installed the guest additions a bit and all is well now. Thanx for the links though
