[solved] How to clone *.vdi file?

its my hard dirc but i want to run a copy of it at the same time. I found some GUIs but none of them work. and there is no documentation.

If I do Copy of *.vdi & try to use it it says IT cant use it?

how can I clone it?

Some pl say do it with command promt, but they dont say HOW????
