Host RDP connection failing after VirtualBox install

I've installed VB3.0.4 onto Server 2008 64bit.
It seems to complete fine but I've noticed that when trying to connect to the server(host) via Remote Desktop it cannot connect anymore where it could before the installation. The way to fix it is to disbale the newly created "VirtualBox Host-only" network connection and then you can connect via Remote Desktop again.
Does anyone know why this would be and how to resolve ?
