Okay, well when i use Windows 7 64-bit in VBox 3.0.4 with Seamless mode, my desktop and my linux taskbar disappear.
My desktop disappears as in the windows i have open disappear and also, my desktop icons are not visible. strangely, they are still clickable, and appear when i decide to move them, or select a program button.

Can you explain this some more? You're not making much sense. Please make a screen shot of the problem and attach it here so we can see what you're talking about.
