cant use 2 processor in all Virtual boxes

HI

i got system with 2 cpus (intel e5200) , i cant move the bar in the "setting" to use 2 cpus, (its Grey) , it show only 1cpu he is using
i am using virtual box 3.0.4 , on windows xp sp3 .
anyone know if its a bug or i do something wrong?

Checked the manual for what you need to use SMP? According to http://processorfinder.intel.com/detail ... Spec=SLAY7, you don't have VT-x, which is essential for SMP.

i am not sure about your claim , coz SMP is harware not software...

Because VB uses hardware virtualization to make it available, VMWare uses ugly software hacks that even allows you to use 2 CPUs when you have a single core CPU in your computer. They 'simulate' a second core, while VB actually gives a real second core.
