Is it possible to convert a VDI to an actual HDD? I have been using virtualbox for a while because of a lack of an addition HDD, but now I have an extra drive and wanted to know if I can take the VDI and copy it to the HDD and be able to boot it as i would a normal (non virtual OS). I read about being able to convert a current working OS from a HDD to a VDI, but can you go the other way?

Thanks
Fletch

Yes, it works the same way for both ways, not excluding problems with hardware changes and such. One way is called p2v and the other v2p.
