Freeundelete, getdataback, hopefully you haven't deleted that part of your brain that deals with searching with google, search first panic later.

it is not funny. i have tried so many file recover that i am now discouraged. i think,it does not work because i deleted the .Vdi with the VirtualBox Disk manager.
Freeundelete doesn't work and the module "MediaHeal for virtual drive " is not availlable for download...

I wasn't trying to be funny, getdataback is the most usefull tool for this, if that one can't find it, its lost. There are forensic tools that might get it back but you need experience to understand what you see.

If you have not selected "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted" or that the size of the file does not exceed the maximum size to store data in the Recycle Bin, you will be able to get the hard disk image of the Recycle Bin. If so, you might not be so lucky.

You have buy a license key, you know, open up your wallet and fork out money. Asking for that here can lead to the removal of your account.

Do you realise that doing so is considered piracy?

Well, if you have accidentally deleted your virtual hard disk and if it is permanently deleted, you will need to recreate a virtual hard disk from scratch and reinstall your guest operating system. That is all.
