Hi all,
I have been hearing that VirtualBox does not currently support handling GRE packets, but to be honest the details always seem a little sketchy. So here I am asking about it:
Does the OSE version of VirtualBox running on a Debian Lenny host support the handling/forwarding of GRE packets to an SBS2008 (or any other Server 2008 version) guest?
Cheers.
Grant.

thymox,
I believe that you are talking about a NAT limitation see section 6.4.3. NAT limitations of the VBox Users Guide. AFAIK there are no limitations when using Bridged other than the standard ones encountered everyday. I know that in bridged mode VPN works fine. I have several testbeds setup and have no problems using them internal or external.
