Linux guest on Windows - screen scrambled on resize

Running vbox 2.2.4 on Windows XP. Linux is Fedora 11 :

Guest additions are loaded and activated.

When dragging the guest window to resize the screen, the guest additions to attempt to resize things, but the screen gets scrambled...looks like X might not be aware of whats happening. I can manually drag the screen back to a particular size that matches what X thinks, and the screen becoms readable again.

I *think* the driver is xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-0.0.12-40.20090528git0c17b87.fc11.i586
but I'm not sure exactly how to tell.

Any ideas?

Upgraded to 3.0.2, no change.

Question : although I have run the guest additions install for 3.0.2, modinfo still shows

Are those version numbers right?
