Can't access shared folders in W7/W7..

Post by apollo911 »

I'm trying Virtualbox for the first time - I installed 3.0.2 in Windows 7 x64 RC 7100 with no problems and installed XP Pro SP3 as a guest and am able to access shared folders on the host with no problems.

I then installed Windows 7 x64 RTM as a guest and I ca't get shared folders to work at all.. they just don't show anywhere.

How can I get access to data on the host?

I'm used to VMware where copy/paste works between host and guest but that doesn't seem possible in Virtualbox, or have I forgotten to do something?

I installed guest additions OK.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks :-)

net use z: \\vboxsvr\<sharename> -p worked perfectly.
