Sharing folder in a blank virtual machine

Post by diegos79 »

Hi,
how can I share folder into a machine without operating system ?
I need to move two backup files into the virtual disk to test restoring a partimage backup.
First i make boot into virtual machine with system rescue cd and then use partimge. But my images to restore are located in the host (linux).

Is there any way to copy files into a file .vdi ?

thanks

Most such tools like clonezilla have networking(samba) onboard. Mount the ISO in the VM, boot it and of you go.

You mount an ISO via the CDROM item in the VM menu.
