I was wondering why Daemon Tools don't load when VT-x/AMD-V are disabled. I have a AMD Phenon that have Virtualization Extentions, but when I copied a installation of a virtual machine to another machine with a AMD Athlon64 X2, daemon tools stopped working. Is there an explanation? Do someone knows a solution to this problem? Is there a good CD-ROM emulator that I can use instead of Daemon Tools to load .ngr, .bin, .mdf, .img with protection layer emulation?
Edit: I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 as Host system and Windows XP as guest.
