Hi All
I installed VBox3.0.2 and created all my guests on my XPSP3 host pc on a profile called Admin
This XPSP3 host pc is now joining a domain and I wish to move the .Virtualbox from the admin profile to a location on C: drive, accessible to All users on local or domain.

how can i move the .VirtualBox folder ?

Copy and paste to start with until it is all working and no problems.
Then you will need to open the VirtualBox program GUI and click on file -> preference and set the path to the new location.

I am also playing with the VBOX_USER_HOME Envirometal Variable

The only thing that I can think of that may cause a problem is you created this in a restricted login (or I think you did) Admin.
You may need to use the Windows Users profile and copy the admin account settings to the all users to be able to use all of the permissions that they are going to need. then work on the permissions but it is all doable!

Yes considered that and we have added the user to the Local Machine Administrators Group. We are using WDP in Windows SteadyState to help control the environment, a classroom. thx again

You can save the VMs, VDIs and full config files (including the general VirtualBox.xml file) when you use the VBOX_USER_HOME variable. Set that to C:\VMs (or other folder you specify) and make sure that every file that is needed for proper VM operation is in that folder, so also the general XML file. Setting the variable as system will make sure that the users profile aren't cluttered with useless variables, and all new users will have access to the VMs (after receiving proper privileges to access the VM folder if needed) without any additional configuration.
