So civilization 3 seems to install fine for me but when I try to run the game it does not recognize the CD as being in my drive so I downloaded a NO-CD crack for it. I updated to 1.29f and replaced the Civilizaton3.exe with the one from the crack but when I try to run the game now nothing happens, the cursor turns to an hourglass for a second and then nothing. Anyone else have similar problems?

Sorry but we can not help with trying to work around licensing issues but if you want to try the CD again try setting the CD/DVD to enable passthrough.
