Help, I hosed my networking

VBox 3.0.2 running on Vista SP2 host
Fedora 11 Guest with Additions installed.
Somehow I hosed my networking and I'm not sure if it's on the host or guest. If I try to ping a site from Fedora, I get 100% packet loss. The network icon is blinking in the bottom status bar. Network on the Vista host works perfectly for everything internet related.
In Vista's Network & Sharing Center I have an Unidentified network with Limited Connectivity and the Connection says VirtualBox Host-Only Network. Is that correct? If not what should my network settings be?
Thanks!

The first thing that I would ask myself in this situation is what did I change, assuming your statement that it does not work now but used to work at some point.
Then Look in the settings for the guest and tell use what you are using in the network settings.
Try setting the guest to use NAT and select your host adapter and it should be fine. Then go into Fedora and open a terminal and type ifconfig to see if you have an address like 10.0.2.15, and let us know.

Thanks for the quick response. I should have included more info at first. I only have one NIC setup in the Fedora Guest: Intel PRO/1000 MT Server attached to NAT.
hostname -i responds with an IP of 208.67.xxx.xxx. When the network activity icon on the bottom status bar flashes, it flashes red.
To be honest, I was making a lot of changes to see if I could fix it, and I probably made it worse. So at this point I'm not sure if the problem is with the host or the guest.

That's the default NAT address, so nothing wrong there if you set the VM to be attached to NAT. Instead of pinging to the outside, try opening a website instead. For optimum testing, get the IP address from the website you want to access too, or take the Google example in the VirtualBox FAQ.
