Installing GA: Kubuntu32 guest on SuSE64 host

I have read the article on installing GA, and have got to the point of actually installing the GA. It is not clear to me whether to chose the 32bit installation (because of the guest) or the 64bit installation (because of the host). Therefore I chose the Automatic option, on the assumption that it knows better than me.

This produced a change in the content of the window (mostly an icon showing the beginning of a script), but no other activity. Fumbling around a bit eventually produced a warning that this operation has to be performed with root privileges. Next time around, I will take the trouble to install the GA from root's /home. The instructions probably should say this (perhaps I have overlooked this).

Can someone tell me which architecture is appropriate to this situation, I will be grateful.

Running the GA installer can be done from it's source without problems. No need to copy it to any place. I've noted specifically to run them as ROOT, or use SUDO. I also have stated that the installer you need depends on the GUEST ARCHITECTURE. So even if you would have a 128 bit Host (if they existed), running a 32 bit Guest still requires the 32 bit installer. You can even run 64 bit Guests on 32 bit Hosts, and with that combination, you run the 64 bit installer inside the Guest. Makes a lot of sense to me...
