vista guest is stuck after bios

The titie is a bit ambiguous but here's what happens:
I followed cthis guide to the letter except I get stuck when it asks me to use vbox to run my vista partition. I get past the bios and the screen adjusts a time or two and then I get an error message that reads

A critical error has occurred while running the virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped.
For help, please see the Community section on http://www.virtualbox.org or your support contract. Please provide the contents of the log file VBox.log and the image file VBox.png, which you can find in the /home/sam/.VirtualBox/Machines/Vista/Logs directory, as well as a description of what you were doing when this error happened. Note that you can also access the above files by selecting Show Log from the Machine menu of the main VirtualBox window.
Press OK if you want to power off the machine or press Ignore if you want to leave it as is for debugging. Please note that debugging requires special knowledge and tools, so it is recommended to press OK now.

I press ok and retry the next time I get the windows start recovery screen and I select start windows normally same error.
I am quite positive I have followed the guide I posted perfectly without flaw. If there is a better method to do what I'm trying to do (Which is boot an existing vista partition on the same harddisk as the host while allowing it to be booted as a host system in the future) or some documentation to help me some links/pointers/suggestions would be very nice. Below is the error log it gave me. I am using all 64 bit software/operating systems. Ubuntu is the host. Any help would be great Thanks!
