VirtualBox 2.2.4/3.0.2, Host WinXP SP3 (32bit), Guest WinXP SP2 (32bit).
CPU C2D e6300 (64bit).

Everything (folder sharing host-guest, internet etc.) works perfect, except when i try to launch a game (Global Mu Online).

Launcher starts, GameGuard Starts, and when the game starts to load whole VM freezes.

When i had Celeron 430 game started without a problem (just slow) on VirtualBox 2.2.4, i bought new CPU with 2 cores so everything would work smoothly.
But somehow with new CPU VM crashes when starting the game.

I assigned to VM 800MB RAM out of 2GB, and 48MB video memory, 3d acceleration is on.

Please help.

Try using 768MB (256+512) instead. Reason sometimes windows doesn't like memory amounts that can't be reached normally.

I have to ask this. If you have Windows XP as a host why are you battling to get the game to run on the XP guest?
It will never run as fast as it does on the host.
No big deal I just want to know why. ???

After few resets of the host VM doesn't crash, but the game "doesn't start".
Splash Screen shows up, disapears and nothing happens.
In tasklist i can't find the game, but when I shut down VM it tries to kill Mu.exe

I want to run game in VM 'cause it's a game where you can AFK a lot with mouse bot.
So I would like to play the game, and do some work at the same time =]
