some USB devices are not recognized

some USB devices are not recognized

hello everybody
i installed the puel-version on ubuntu 9.04 and windows xp sp3 as guest. i added all my usb devices. now when windows is up only the sony mediaplayer is activated, the others like my tomtom or my external harddisc are grayed out. in the system settings of windows all hardware devices are ok. help needed

Sorry but I don't read French and the google translator did not do a good enough job for me to understand.

Please read through the Forum FAQ VirtualBox FAQ and see if you have done everything that you need to do to get USB working.

half german and half french ;-) what i need is to understand why only one usb device (the mp3 sony walkman) works fine and the other devices wont...

Stranger things have happened. Anyway you should be able to get most if not all of them working by following the FAQ. If not return with exact questions and someone here will answer them.
