OSE bridge ..

Post by remd »

I have another virtualboxOSE 1.5x running on ubuntu 8.04, and I need to have it on the same network range as the main host, so bridge it.
I however don't see that option in the network setup (only NAT, host..). This is however working fine with VB2.2.4 under ubuntu 9.04.
Is it possible to do it with vbOSE 1.5x ? or not ?

On that (old version) the only thing was host interface if memory serves me. Then you did the bridging from the host. The newer versions use Bridged and is done within the VBox program. You may want to update to a newer version. Version 2.2.4 is the most stable of any of the newer versions.
