Hi,
is there a way to use an usb device which is not installed on the host?
I'm using Vista x64 as host and XP x86 as guest and I would use an older usb device.
There doesn't exist a driver for vista, so the idea to use it on a vm.
On first try to use the device there pop up the install window on the host which I cancel, because I have no driver and on second try i get the error:
"USB Device '...' with UUID {...} is busy with a previous request. Please try again later."
Thanks in advance!

Re: Using USB Device not installed on Host
AFAIK if the host does not run the USB device the guest will not either.
I do not remember reading of anyone that has been able to make it work in this way.
