Hello,
I am running Virtual box 3.0.2 in Windows 7 RC build. I have installed Ubuntu 9.04 as the guest OS. Everything works fine with the install of Ubuntu.
I would like to get seamless integreation. When i add the Virtual Additions to Ubuntu and reboot the guest OS. The display is all messed. I see thin strand of graphics at the top of the screen but it is legible at all.
I took a snapshot for installing virtual machine additions when I reverted back to snapshot before addition everything works fine.
I would like to know if virtual additions works in this scenario. Has anyone got this working ? How do I make it work?
thanks

Re: Virtual additions messes up display
Try setting the VRam for Ubuntu in the settings to 64 Meg see ticket http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/4430
I have mine set to the minimum (10-12) and it works fine
