cant get 2 vms work with 1 eth-port

Post by printala »

hello,
I am having big troubles with headless mode. I am trying to make 2 virtual machines (fedora) in host (centos5). I cant get them both boot in with the server.
Only first comes online and the second cant get network. All works fine when using virtual box in graphical mode. Can anyone tell me how to share one eth-port with 2 vitrual machines in headless mode ??

Remember that the RDP server is a VMM (that is host) service. I suspect that the issue here isn't the eth0 conflict but that you are trying to start both using the default RDP port. The second needs to be on a different RDP port to the first so as not to hang.
