[VBoxSDL] I need some help please

Well well, I was doing some experiments with VBox, and well I love this program je je xD
but well, I created a Virtual Machine with the Normal front-end (Virtualbox.exe)
Virtual machine especification:
Guest OS Kubuntu 9.04
Memory: 1024 Mb
Video 64Mb VRam 3d acceleration enabled
Hard Disk 10Gb (dynamically expanded)
USB enabled
Network: Bridged
and the host especifications
Windows Vista Home premium x64
RAM: 4Gb
Prosessor AMD Turion X2 64 bits

well, my trouble is that when I tried to launch my virtual machine with VBoxSDL, the console returned me this message:

well i tried a lot of things (like VBoxSDL -startvm "KUbuntu" -fullscreen)
or VBoxSDL --startvm "KUbuntu"
or VBoxSDL --startvm "KUbuntu" --fullscreen
but the output is the same T_T
why happens it?

I know that with virtualbox.exe it'll work, but why isn't it work with vboxsdl?
I want to test my virtual machines with vboxsdl, but it doesn't work

From the manual:
"VBoxSDL is currently primarily used internally for debugging VirtualBox and therefore not of?cially supported."

it isn't a good answer, you didn't help me, I only wants to know why vboxsdl doesn't work in my windows vista x64 host and why in my ubuntu host vboxsdl works fine
and if it will not work in vista, then can somebody suggest me another frontend (no Virtualbox.exe nor vboxmanage.exe)

I interested about vboxsdl because in my ubuntu host, that front end, gives me a real sensation when it is in full screen, and i want to test some virtual machines in my vista host

PD I think that the trouble is the SDL.dll library, I believe in that dll isn't full compatible with my vista computer

If you want to use a different front-end, then run it headless and RDP to it . You can try to reinstall/repair the VB installation to get the problem fixed, but as vbox4me2 already stated, it's for debugging use for the VB devs. It is a different front-end, but in no way meant to be used by normal users. If it works, you're lucky, but if it doesn't, don't blame VB.
