[Solved] How to increase screen res in windows guest
I have vBox 2.1.2 installed on my Fedora Core 9 host with a Windows XP Guest. The max resolution goes up to 1152*864. Is there a way I can bring that to 1280*1024? I'm running it within a VNC session which is running at that res so I'd like it to match so I can just go in full screen mode in vbox and vnc and have it use up all my screen.

What if you 'fullscreen' the Guest?

Re: How to increase screen res in windows guest
Actually know what, did not realize that if I resize the window it changes the res on the fly, and full screen does also change the res. I thought it was not doing that but I was just getting confused. My RDP within the VM is what was not resizing. Just had to go full screen then RDP back into the server I was in, and I was good to go.
