Re: Diablo2 only 17fps
What is the actual version of VirtualBox?
Your profile says OSE which is doubtful. If you have not already upgraded to version 3.0.2 you should as it fixed some issues.
You will also need to install the guest additions in the Windows guest in safe mode.

Re: Diablo2 only 17fps
well ok i dont know which vbox i have i just use the public one^^ version is 3.0.0 because i dont have time to install the new one atm. i installed the guest additions, but what do you mean by safe mode?
ANd my actual problem is, that i always have 100% CPU use with a 2,5 GHZ core prozessor
so you think version 3.0.2 can fix it?!

Re: Diablo2 only 17fps
Version 3.0.2 was a maintenance release to 3.0.0 which had a lot of problems and some were in fact related to processor.
If you want to use the DriectX 3d acceleration you need to install the drivers and since Windows put restrictions on these drivers you must be in safe mode to install them or Windows will actually re-install their drivers negating the VBox driver install. The only way to install these is in safe mode. When you boot Windows you need to press F8 at the very first to enter a mode screen where you can select safe mode. Once booted then install the guest additions and reboot into normal mode.
One other thing to keep in mind, some games simply use 100% of a processor while you are playing them. Under normal situations you would not see this but in a virtual environment it shows up.
