VBox 3.0 - why no compilation for openSUSE 10.3?

...as 10.3 is still in maintenance??

OpenSuSE is already at version 11.1, so 10.3 would be long gone from being in development. Tried the 11.1 or 11.0 build? Usually these work just as well.

I just like to point out that in the openSUSE versioning, 10.3 was the one before 11.0 and is still supported by Novell, though only for a few months more from now. Of course, the developers are at liberty to support or not what they choose. I mention this just in case you were under the impression that 10.3 is old.
