Unable to install Virtualbox 3.0 on Ubuntu 8.04

I tried to upgrade to the 3.0 version on my Ubuntu 8.04 machine but I'm getting the following errors during the install. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Directory: /usr/src/vboxdrv-3.0.2 does not exist.

Well, does the folder exist? It says it doesn't. Check the folder, it should be a symbolic link to /usr/share/virtualbox/src. If it doesn't, and the other folder doesn't exist either, then you have to install the package again, hopefully installing the folders and symlinks.
