Strange, when I play an MP3, it's just fine. Any effect plugins you're using? Tried different programs (VLC, Audacious, Totem, Amarok)?

First of all: the song is slow where? Are you trying to play it on the host (Vista) or on the guest (Ubuntu) ?
How many memory have you spared to Ubuntu? Are running any other software at the same time?

of course the MP3 files are playing correctly on vista...

I tryed :
- totem : slow with bugs
- rythmbox : slow but clear
- VLS : slow with more bugs !

Sounds like your whole install is bugged. You even tried to copy the file to the hard drive of the Guest, instead of playing directly from the Shared Folder?

yes, the files are copied in the Music directory of Ubuntu.

Well, even so, your install is most likely bugged. Install a new VM and see how that goes. You can try it with a live CD environment first too with the current VM.
