I am running Ubuntu 9.02 with VB 3.0.2 with Vista.
I installed vista and outlook 2007 successfully. The first attempt showed a local and internet connection in vbox and I rebooted after installing outlook.
After attempting to setup my exchange in outlook, it would not connect to the server so I checked my net connection inside the box and it shows now local only.
In the settings in vbox I have the network connect attached as Host only adaptor.I tried NAT and all other network options and that didnt work either.
Anyone have any thoughts to get the connection back to vbox and then what to do about outlook?
TIA,
Chris

Re: outlook in vb wont connect, now no net connection
Host only will give you just that. Host only no internet.
If you have a router if you are planning on using Outlook especially on an exchange server you would be better to set it up as bridged.
Get the bridge working first then the outlook should work without problems.

Re: outlook in vb wont connect, now no net connection
I have it set in VB as Bridged eth1 using the Intel 1000 driver and it connects to the net in VB Vista but after 30 seconds times out and it goes to local only, this is indicated by the icon in the bottom right.
