I have VirtualBox 3.0.2 on Vista Home Premium 64-bit (not my first choice!) on my Toshiba laptop. I created a Solaris VM and installed Solaris 10u7 plus the Guest Additions for Solaris. That all seemed to go fine. I then installed Sun Ray Software 4.2 which requires a reboot. As root, I used the reboot command which brought the VM down fine but on the restart, Solaris hangs after displaying the version splash. I've tried init 6 instead of reboot with the same result. The problem is, if you use Reset or Close from the Machine menu, the VM seems irreparably damaged. Further attempts at starting Solaris result in Solaris being unable to start the Xserver on display :0.0.
Any hints, suggestions, RTFM's, etc greatly appreciated!
