Hello
I dont know how best to describe the problem but basically i get an error on Win7 Setup stating
Windows failed to start.........
File: \windows\system32\boot\winload.exe
Status: 0xc000035a
Info: Attempting to load a 64-bit application, however this CPU is not compatible with 64-bit mode.
Just after "Windows is loading files" screen
I do have the Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 CPU (So is 64-bit and Hardware Virtualised)
Im assuming a setting is wrong somewhere but can't see where???
Running Latest version of V-box 3.0.2r49928
Thanks in advance

And don't forget the VM settings too. That need to match the requirements for 64 bit. Check the manual/VirtualBox FAQ for it.

Re: Cant install Win7 x64 7264 on XPP32
Turned out to be small fault on my Motherboard
I use a gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R REV 1.0 and the Bios setting to enable VT-X had disappeared upgrading to the latest version F13 reenabled the setting and once done setting up a new VM (Windows 7 64) made it all work.
