I upgraded from 2.2.4 to 3.0.2, but did not install the Host networking - opting to Install on first use.
I discovered that my bridged network connections did not work.
Suspecting this may be due to the uninstalled Host networking, I tried to create a Host-only interface, which failed.
(There did not seem to be any attempt to install).
I tried to repair the installation from the Windows interface, but this could not find the installer.
I tried to reinstall 3.0.2, but this only offered repair or uninstall. There seemed to be no way to install Host networking.
Eventually I uninstalled, and re-installed 3.0.2, which fixed my bridged network connections.
There are 3 problems with the Windows installer:-
1. The help text which indicates the Net is only required for Host networking is incorrect.
2. The installer is unable to modify the existing installation.
3. The install file seems to be deleted after installation, so the repair option did not work.
PS The reason I did not install Host networking is that it interferes with my Toshiba Zero Configuration utility, and I need to disable the Host Driver to get this to work.
