You can't install VirtualBox to a USB stick and expect it to work on any computer. It just doesn't work that way.

You can however, put virtual drives and machine configurations on a USB stick to work on any computer with VirtualBox already installed.

There should be a way. Like I saw some people put VMware ESXi on a usb stick.

Is there a way to export and import between Vmware and Virtualbox?

Thx

It would be a driver nightmare. Not needed to do so.

I think that disks created in VMware can be used in VirtualBox, but I don't think you can actually boot from them and run machines configured in VMware.

ESXi doesn't need a host OS, it can boot directly from the usb stick. You could try the same with vbox by also installing your whole windows or linux host OS on the stick.
