Re: Install virtualbox on USB Stick
You can't install VirtualBox to a USB stick and expect it to work on any computer. It just doesn't work that way.
You can however, put virtual drives and machine configurations on a USB stick to work on any computer with VirtualBox already installed.

There should be a way. Like I saw some people put VMware ESXi on a usb stick.
Is there a way to export and import between Vmware and Virtualbox?
Thx

Re: Install virtualbox on USB Stick
It would be a driver nightmare. Not needed to do so.
I think that disks created in VMware can be used in VirtualBox, but I don't think you can actually boot from them and run machines configured in VMware.

Re: Install virtualbox on USB Stick
ESXi doesn't need a host OS, it can boot directly from the usb stick. You could try the same with vbox by also installing your whole windows or linux host OS on the stick.junwukey wrote:There should be a way. Like I saw some people put VMware ESXi on a usb stick.
