VB 3.0 Keeps crashing, 2.2.4 never crashed.

Installed VB 3.0 in Kubuntu 9.04 and it crashes every 20 minutes sometimes. The window with the guest (XP) just closes without warning.
I've already installed an older version since 3.0 does not seem to be ready,
If there are logs somewhere on my computer that I can post to help you guys out let know where to find them and where to post them.

And by the the way, why is there no 2.2.4 available for Jaunty in the older version download page?

mm, maybe because jaunty was released on April 23 and 2.2.4 was released on May 29th, and this wasn't enough time to update that page
Anyway, one can grab it here, or configure the repsitory as described on the Linux_Downloads page.

mm, it's July. And by the way smart guy, 2.2.4 was available for Jaunty when it was was considered the latest version. When it was moved to the older downloads page it disappeared.

Version 3.0.2 was released today and fixed a few things that might help you . Give it a try and see.
By the way I just checked again and there is the PUEL version available for Jaunty in i386 and amd64

Well what do you know, 2.2.4 is back on the old downloads page for Jaunty. Even yesterday it was still not available on that page, neither was 2.2.2

I wish I knew what to tell you but I did not check until today. I keep copies of all of the versions on my backup drive.
Have you tried the new release? Did it help?

Been using it for around an hour now. Let me give it a few days and then I'll report back.
As for saving old versions of software, that is going to be a regular practice for me now. Normally this is not a problem for VB but it is frequently a problem for other softwares that only make the latest version available.
