Hope that subject is descriptive enough.
I have two guest vms both running XP executing concurrently on a Windows XP host. The VMs are controlled via scripts that power off the VMs, discard the current state and restart the VMs. The interval before the revert cycle is random for both guests but they are eventually powered off at the same time. When both machines are powered off, using vboxmanage, at roughly the same time both machines freeze. I have to kill both VirtualBox processes to restart the cycle. Has anyone else come across this problem or know of a possible cause?
Thanks
Chuck

Re: Vboxmanage hangs on poweroff of concurrent VMs.
Is there a way that you can stagger the kill cycle. I have not had a lot of success trying to kill VMs at the same time either, but doing them with a delay should work.

Delay start and stop works perfectly, use a script for that, the 'choice' cli tool is a good one for making delays.
