I have a laptop running Windows XP w/ SP3 installed. I've also have comodo firewall
3.10.102194.530 installed. I downloaded latest version of Sun VirtualBox 3.0.0-49315 for windows.
It installs fine and my NIC and wireless works fine on laptop. However if I reboot or shutdown my laptop,
then my NIC and wireless stops working. I noticed the vbox bridge nic is connected. I cannot disable or enable
any of the NIC and wireless and the bridge nic. I reinstalled and same thing.
After uninstalling the virtualbox, everything works - no matter how many times I reboot, everything does work.
Therefore can it there be a compatibility issue with vbox 3.x and comodo firewall 3.x, and/or Win XP SP3?
Thanks
Vbox 3.0.0 problem

Re: Vbox 3.0.0 problem
You can try to eliminate the firewall by disabling it and see if the problem persists.

Re: Vbox 3.0.0 problem
I did disable the firewall and the problem was same. However I did not install it while it was disabled. I will do so and post here if the problem continues.
