failure installation xp on virtualbox

Post by imoitaly »

hi, I am using VB 2.1.4 and trying to install xp on my portable computer.
During installation of guest OS from CD, when it reaches 'unit floppy disk support' it always come out the following message (translated into english):
'the file dmload.sys has caused an unexpected error (3072) at row 5882 in d:\nt\base\boot\setup\setp.c

The host system is windows vista ultimate.
My portable computer has no floppy installed and in the configuration of virtual machine the floppy disk is not mounted.
The floppy is not selected in the boot order.
Base memory is 640 MB

Is it necessary to install a file image of the floppy? Where can I get this .img file if necessary?
Thanks for any suggestion

Look for the VFD tool with google to create a floppy image, after that you can mount the .img
