I am running VirtualBox 3.0.0 on a Windows 7 64bit RC host. I am trying to install Windows Server 2008 R2 as a guest OS. I've setup a new virtual machine and mapped the CD/DVD to the Windows Server 2008 R2 iso. When I boot the virtual machine Windows setup begins. During the initial stages of setup I get prompted with a Load Driver dialog. The dialog states "A required CD/DVD device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now."
It would appear that the setup routine does not recognize some of the hardware. Does anybody have a solution for this?
Thanks,
H

Make an ISO from the CD and try that.

Re: Windows Server 2008 R2
Thank's for the response. I was able to resolve my issue. It appears the iso did not fully download from MS. I re-downloaded and this time the iso was significantly larger it it installed fine.
