is it possible to get a virus on he host pc if the gust is infected or if the gust pc comes across a exploit web page? for some reason when i was in my gust pc the anti virus on my host said threat detected it said the thereat was found on virtualbox.exe process. the threat was a exploit web page. so is my host pc in any danger

gust additions installed yes (but did not install the networking feature)

Very unlikely. But if you have shared folders be VERY careful with the content in those.
