I have Ubuntu 9.04 virtualized on Vista. But everytimes I try to download new updates, Ubuntu 9.04 completely freezes and the VM is locked (100% CPU usage in 1 core), I can't do anything! There's a serious bug in Virtual Box 3.0.0.
Is Virtual Box 3.0 tested with Linux guests?

I found the solution:
in the VM settings you have to change the network adaptor from PCnetfastIII to IntelPro Desktop.

Thanks this seems to fix it. Could you also install with this? I had to disable network to install.
