Problems after upgrading Guest Additions to 3.0.0

Post by FOLBlog »

In all my Linux VM, after the upgrade of VirtualBox to the 3.0.0 version, I'm not able to upgrade the guest additions.
After I ran VBoxLinuxAdditions-x86.run and the reboot of the VM, video is impossible to see, scratched in top of windows.
I see it in this way:

I'm using VirtualBox on a Windows 7 RC 7100 x64 PC.

Any suggestion?
Thanks

I have same problem.

I found solution - just press Ctrl+Alt+F1 and next Ctrl+Alt+F7

Does this also work after you reboot? Do you need to restart the Xserver every time you reboot or just the one time?
